Memberships for Youth Work NSW are now open!

Updated: Dec 15, 2021

Youth Work NSW:

In the Snapshot 2020 report produced by Youth Action, 88% of respondents agreed that there needs to be a professional association for youth workers in NSW.

With the support of Youth Action, over the last 12 months a group of 30 committed youth workers have been working together to create the foundations of a youth work professional association.

Memberships for Youth Work NSW are now open!

Youth Work NSW is the professional association for youth workers in New South Wales. Its primary purpose is to support youth work as a profession, ensuring that young people have access to ethical, skilled, and committed youth workers.

We will do this by creating opportunities for youth workers to organise and to share their knowledge and experience, bringing together key resources to uphold and elevate youth work practice, and working together with others to make NSW a better, fairer place for young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new association and continuing to strengthen youth work identity within NSW.
